Welcome to She Takes the Flag

If you'd told me a few years ago that I'd be building a motorsport media platform, I probably wouldn't have believed you.

Like many people, I grew up watching the action on track. The drivers, the rivalries, the victories and the heartbreaks. But as I got older and began exploring careers, I discovered something that fascinated me even more: the thousands of people working behind the scenes to make motorsport happen.

From partnerships and marketing to events, hospitality, content creation and communications, motorsport is powered by far more than what we see on race day.

Yet when I started looking for information about these careers, I found there wasn't much out there. There were plenty of articles about drivers and teams, but very few about the people building careers behind the scenes, especially women.

That's why She Takes the Flag was created.

This platform exists to celebrate the women shaping motorsport across every corner of the industry. Through interviews, career advice, event coverage and industry insights, I want to showcase the people whose stories often go untold.

As someone currently working towards a career in motorsport myself, I'm not writing from the finish line. I'm writing from the journey.

I'll be sharing what I learn, the opportunities I discover, the people I meet and the experiences that help me better understand this incredible industry. My hope is that by doing so, I can make motorsport feel a little more accessible for the next person looking to find their place within it.
